Day 1: Arusha – Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park and you will enjoy a full day game drive.

This spectacular national park is located at the north western corner of Lake Manyara, a hallow soda lake which lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment and is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos, but also for the elusive tree climbing lions.

After lunch and a short rest from the heat, there will be an afternoon game drive as we head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to the Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti is the heart of wild Africa with endless rolling plains. The center is known as the Seronera Area and is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. We will enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the beautiful Serengeti Plains.

Day 3 – 4: Serengeti National Park

These two days will be focused on dramatic game drives in the Serengeti National Park. As well, there is an optional hot air balloon ride (this is an extra cost) over the Serengeti Plains. You will be floating silently above the bush while spotting wildlife from an improbable perspective. There will be a short siesta after your hot lunch at the lodge. On the second day, you may choose an early morning game drive or an afternoon sunset game drive. These will offer a unique outlook at these spectacular animals.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On your last day in The Serengeti, you will enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful bush scenery of the park. Your morning game viewing will be on route to the Ngorongora Conservation Area. You will also be treated to a cultural tour of a Maasai village in the Ngorongora highland. As well, we will stop at a museum dedicated to understanding the Olduvai Gorge and Laetoil fossil sites. This area is known as the cradle of mankind. Your lodge for the evening will be in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

As we adventure out on this day, we will descend 600m into this magnificent crater to view wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unfolded and unbroken caldera in the world, a breath-taking natural wonder. It holds a large variety of wildlife, including a dense population of predators such as the Lion, Hyena, Cheetahs and the ever-elusive Leopard. After your picnic lunch, we will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.

Day 7 – 10: Zanzibar Beach Relaxation

After a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to the Arusha Airport for your fight to Zanzibar.

Our representative will be there to greet you at the Zanzibar airport and take you to your beach hotel.
